We started to ski from where the catski cabin. the way up was mellow yet pretty long (15km) in cloudy weather. Only a few ski/skin problem. nothing major.

We were going at a slow pace. to keep the group together. We were called 'the crazy ones' by the snow mobilers.

We saw the new Brew Hut sign, trail is well marked to the Lake level.

We ran into a group of 11 people from BCMC, they caught a skicat ride up to the trail and were just skiing down to finish off their lucky day trip.

After Evan and I arrived the hut we skiied back to help with some of the exhausted skiers. Well, the most part is to tell them how damn close we were at and gave them energy.

The lantern didn't work. We did excellent for the Earth Hours. I was cooking 2 lb pasta while Evan fixing the lantern.

Hut was overly warm again. Some of us already past out on the bench, without dinner. We hit the sack at 1030. I had a cold so I slept down stairs, on top of my -7 bag, shirtless.

Waking up at 430am. Burrrrrrrr! time to zip up the bag.

Sunday was sunny ! We headed to the W ridge to ski laps while the only snowshoer took off for the parking lot.

After Evan Peter and I tried to fix the broken Outhouse door handle, we headed down at 130p.

On the way down we ran into another group of 'north shore hiking club' snowshoers of 4 just going up for the day and we caught up with Jodi and etc. then all the way finding up to the leading snowshoer. Pretty much everyone arrived at parking at the same time.

Skiing trees and logging road has never been so much fun to me.

Good trip, Evan.
